Story
So I’m entering this event as a tribute to my much loved friend Adam who died too young in February this year after undergoing a lung transplant. Please help me raise as much money as possible for this project that his family have chosen. It’s a Swim, 12 mile bike and 3 mile run. This will be a challenge as I'm not currently very fit, my bike (and knees) have seen better days and I don't think I will even fit into my swim/bike/run suit! Dig deep! Thank you! XUpdates

I’m so pleased to have reached my target (there’s an offline donation that’s yet to show) that I feel like the main achievement has already happened.
I can’t hide that I’m scared about the event mainly because of the heat. I’m not going to be that fast anyway but I know it doesn’t matter. But I would love to finish it and not let the heat get to me.
Will be thinking of you Adam every stroke, pedal and step xx
